The FHAST
is a process that must be completed by every applicant for Disaster
Recovery funding, as part of an agreement between HUD and the State.
It is a checklist regarding Fair Housing issues in the community and
steps that will be taken to address each local government’s
obligation to “affirmatively further fair housing.”
This
group will need to meet in early August to complete the FHAST form.
GrantWorks will be available to assist the work group in completing
this activity. We will also provide maps and data for the work
group’s use in completing the FHAST form.
